The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered? ...raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics.

hello world.
this is a much needed post
i thought i would take the time to update this wonderful journal.
today was a wonderful day. it started out like anyother monday...except for the fact that we didnt have school, and we HADNT had school since thursday. but other than that...it was like any other monday.
nothing special happened. i saw the wedding date, went tanning, went to the market with my mother. as i was sitting up in my room doing my spanish homework, trying as hard as i could to translate a paragraph (which was not working out...i had something about a dude with a wide forehead?) and then...the phone rang. my mom came running upstairs. she told me the most EXCITING news i think ive EVER heard.........................................................................................................................................................HERE IS SOUTHER CALIFORNIA.....................................................................WE ARE HAVING A SNOW DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. well not a real snow day, but a RAIN DAYYYYYYYYYYYY. power is out at lousiville and WE HAVE NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.
AHHHHHHH IM IN LOVE WITH LIFE RIGHT NOW. LETS HOPE IT KEEPS RAINGING FOREVER.

TOMORROW, OCTOBER 13th, MY LOVE AND TWIN AND SISTER NUMBER 3 WILL FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY BE 16!!!!!!!!!! it seems like it has only taken forever, but yes folks, alison elizabeth koobie will finally be 16! now we can do all those cool things that only 16 year olds can do! ahhh what a weirdo, and yet i love her so much. my 16th birthday is in 3 days. im gonna get my license. i have a car. i have a great family. GREAT friends...i should be the happiest person alive..
instead my life sucks. i've messed everything up. all i can think about is what ive done wrong. when i woke up this morning..no, i didnt realize that ill be 16 in just three days, able to drive anywhere i want. i thought about what ive done wrong. i hate it. why does everything always have to work out like this? nothing can ever go right. ahhhhhhhhhh
and incase my life doesnt suck to much already, i have a 3 hour SAT prep course in 45 minutes. dandy...
go away....

Hey its jackie... caitlin and alison dont know im updating this but i thought it was time because there is big big news.... IM 16 TODAY HELL YEAH!! FINALLY! ANDDDDDDD because i am wonderful i got my license today. so i thought it was nesecesary for everyone to know that. oo and thanks to everyone that made my birthday special today... i love caitlin and alison because as usual they out did themselves with absolutely wonderful cakes and super cool balloons and flowers..
